These moves are less about elevator bookings and more about inventory. We scope the actual contents of your home, including basements, garages, and garden sheds, to provide an accurate flat rate. The distance between these neighbourhoods and the rest of the city also means the truck time is longer, which is factored into your quote.
Timing a Delta move
Delta is long and narrow. A move from Tsawwassen to North Delta can take nearly an hour depending on traffic. This distance makes timing critical. Rush hour on 16th Street and the 17th Street Bridge can be congested, especially during summer weekends when tourists head to the beaches.

It is the single biggest timing factor. The tunnel's counterflow and rush-hour queues can add close to an hour each way, so for moves crossing the river we schedule loading around the off-peak windows and route via the Alex Fraser Bridge when it is faster.
