Scoped to your move
No one-size price list. Your rate reflects your inventory, your stairs, your parking, and your kilometres.
Brentwood movers who know the tower loading docks, the construction around Alpha and Beta, and the postwar streets of Willingdon Heights. One flat rate, confirmed up front.
Every Brentwood quote is a flat rate scoped to your move: what you own, the access at both ends, and the distance between them. No hourly meter ticking while you wait on a loading zone.
No one-size price list. Your rate reflects your inventory, your stairs, your parking, and your kilometres.
Someone who has carried a couch up a Vancouver walk-up reviews every quote before it goes out. The price we confirm is the price you pay.
New couch? Extra stop? We review the price with you before move day. Nothing changes without a conversation.
Every Brentwood move packs the same way: our uniform tubs fill the truck floor to ceiling, wall to wall, then the furniture goes in. No loose boxes stacked on your couch.
Brentwood is Burnaby's boomtown. The old 1961 mall is gone, closed in 2025 to make way for the next towers, and around its former parking lot stands the densest cluster of cranes in the region: the Amazing Brentwood towers above the SkyTrain, Gilmore Place with the tallest building in BC, Solo District at the big corner, Concord's ten-tower community stretching toward Holdom, and a brand-new block being dug between Alpha, Beta, and Dawson. One street north of all that, Willingdon Heights is still a postwar neighbourhood of modest houses and grape arbors. Two completely different moves, one flat rate discipline: scope the real address, plan the real access.
Every Brentwood tower move runs through a protocol: a booked service elevator, a certificate of insurance naming the strata, and a loading dock that in the newer complexes is often shared between two or three towers and metered out in booked slots. The booking must come from you, and in the summer peak the good windows go two to four weeks out, so it is the first question we ask.
We handle our end completely, the insurance certificate, the dock-height check, the staged-and-continuous elevator discipline that fits a two bedroom into a two hour window. And because addresses here can be newer than the map data, we confirm the exact loading entrance in advance rather than trusting a pin on Halifax Way.
Brentwood's construction is not a detour sign, it is the landscape. The old mall site is becoming towers, the block bounded by Alpha, Beta, and Dawson broke ground in 2025 with years of excavation and crane work ahead, Concord's parkside phases keep building toward Holdom, and single-lane sections pop up on the surrounding streets as utility and overpass work rolls through.
What that means for a move is simple: curb space is contested, truck routes shift, and the plan needs to be current. We check the active closures near your address in the days before the move, not the month before, and we stage where the construction traffic isn't.
North of Lougheed the neighbourhood changes era completely. Willingdon Heights runs from Boundary to Willingdon between Hastings and the highway, a 1940s veterans' subdivision where original wartime homes sit next to newer rebuilds on a slope with genuine Vancouver views. Brentwood Park keeps its distinctive horseshoe street plan around the central park and school, and Parkcrest carries the family streets east toward Kensington.
Moves here are classic house moves: driveway staging, honest garage-and-basement inventory, older staircases in the original stock. The quiet streets are easy on trucks; Burnaby's overnight-parking ban on heavy vehicles is the one rule that shapes multi-day jobs, and we plan around it.
Willingdon is the spine, from Hastings and the R5 bus corridor down through the Lougheed interchange to Highway 1 at Exit 29, and the Willingdon-Lougheed crossing is one of the busiest signalized intersections in the city. The SkyTrain matters here too: Brentwood station is among the busiest on the line, and its street edges are transit-priority, not truck staging.
We time the drive around the corridor peaks and put the slow windows to work as loading time. Drive time is an input to your flat rate, never a meter. The price we confirm before you book is the price you pay. Call or text Nash Moving for your flat-rate quote.

A Dalí clock, right on timeNash Moving helped my parents move recently and were fantastic. My parents loved how friendly, fast and efficient they were. The guys were always happy and really seemed to enjoy what they were doing. Highly recommend.

Thank you Nash Moving for helping myself and my many clients move!
Newer, yes; simpler, not automatically. Brentwood's towers run full move protocols, booked elevator, certificate of insurance naming the strata, and loading docks that are often shared between towers in the same complex. In summer the good elevator windows go weeks ahead. We tell you exactly what to book, issue the insurance certificate ourselves, and confirm the dock height and route before move day.
It is the biggest construction zone in Burnaby and will be for years. The old mall closed in 2025 for the next phase of towers, a whole new block is being excavated between Alpha, Beta, and Dawson, and more towers are rising east toward Holdom. None of it stops a move, but it moves trucks, closes curb lanes, and changes week to week, so we route-check close to your date instead of trusting last month's map.
This is a real Brentwood thing. Streets like Halifax Way and Skyline Drive are newer than some map data, and tower addresses can point at the wrong podium entrance. We confirm the exact loading entrance with you or the concierge in advance, so the truck arrives at the dock, not at the retail plaza.
Different move entirely. Willingdon Heights and Brentwood Park are postwar neighbourhoods, wartime and 1950s homes mixed with newer rebuilds, on quieter streets where the truck usually stages at the driveway or curb without drama. The work there is honest inventory and interior turns, and the occasional west-facing slope, all scoped into the quote.
A truck actively loading at the curb usually doesn't, but Burnaby has formal permits for anything more, reserving street space takes real lead time, and storage containers need their own permit with about a week's notice. Burnaby also bans heavy trucks from parking overnight on residential streets, which shapes multi-day plans. We sort whichever applies when you book.
