Arc is the pair of towers at 87 and 89 Nelson Street, at the foot of the Cambie Street Bridge where Yaletown meets False Creek. Concord Pacific completed the project in 2019: two concrete towers of 28 and 30 storeys, joined near the top by a sky bridge, with about 560 homes between them. The West Haven Group manages the property. A move here comes down to one service elevator booking, one loading arrangement, and a truck position on Nelson that has to be settled before the crew arrives. Two towers, one lift window

The sky bridge joins the towers at the amenity level, but a move happens in one tower at a time: 87 Nelson or 89 Nelson, with its own lobby and its own elevator booking. The building runs five elevators, and the service window you get is the window the crew works to. You book it through The West Haven Group; we schedule the crew to fit it. On the day, the crew pads and wraps furniture inside the unit and stages it by the elevator, so the booked time is spent carrying, not packing. If the window is tight, we split the crew between the unit and the loading area so the elevator never sits idle. Arc's one bedroom homes were built with integrated murphy beds and built-in closet organizers, which means less loose furniture on the truck and more care taken with what is fixed to the wall. We note anything built in before the first box moves, and it stays where it is.

The curb at the foot of the bridge

The towers sit where Nelson Street meets the Cambie Street Bridge, so traffic coming off the bridge into downtown passes the front door and there is no long stretch of quiet curb to back a truck against. The loading arrangement is the building's, not the street's. We confirm with The West Haven Group where the truck goes and when, and the crew arrives to a spot rather than circling Yaletown looking for one. Where the building's loading area is the answer, we size the truck to fit it, and we time the load around the bridge traffic where the elevator window allows. That planning is inside the flat rate. What the amenities mean for a move

The sky bridge carries the glass bottom pool, the sky gym, the sky spa and lounge, and the outdoor patio deck. None of that is on the move route: the crew works the service elevator and the loading area the building designates, and stays out of the amenity level and the corridors that are not yours. The parkade has EV charging and a touch-less automatic car wash, which matters only if your move includes a vehicle or anything stored below; if it does, we plan that trip separately from the elevator run so the booked window is not spent in the parkade.
